Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
